Terms and conditions of use

1. Who publishes FootballDay?

FootballDay is an online game published by ProjetFoot, the company that also runs ProjetFoot (www.footballday.net). Its full contact details are at the bottom of this page.

2. Purpose

These terms govern your use of the FootballDay website and game. By creating an account or logging in, you accept them.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to register. One account per person. The information you give when registering must be accurate.

You are responsible for your password and for anything done with your account. Let us know if you think someone else is using it.

4. A fictional game

The clubs, players, villages, sponsors and competitions in the game are made up: any resemblance is purely coincidental. In-game euros are virtual: they have no real value and cannot be exchanged, resold or refunded.

5. Shop purchases

The Shop, open to adults only, offers virtual benefits (“Continue”s, passes, bonuses, in-game money). Prices are shown in euros, including VAT. Payment is processed by Mollie.

This digital content is delivered as soon as payment is made. By confirming your purchase, you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal (Belgian Code of Economic Law, Article VI.53, 13°). If a purchase isn’t delivered properly, write to us: we’ll fix it or refund it.

Purchased benefits are linked to your account and cannot be transferred. They are lost if the account is deleted, or suspended for breaching these terms.

6. Code of conduct

No offensive, hateful or misleading usernames or club names. No cheating, multiple accounts, automation or deliberate exploitation of bugs. In case of abuse, we may change a name, or suspend or delete an account.

7. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the game available and error-free, but we can’t guarantee it: maintenance, outages or changes may happen. The game’s rules and balance may change to improve it.

Our liability is limited to direct damage and, for a purchase, to the amount paid, except in the case of serious or intentional misconduct, and without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Intellectual property

The website, its text, illustrations, logo and code belong to ProjetFoot. Please don’t copy or reuse them without permission.

9. Privacy and cookies

How your personal data and cookies (technical only) are used is described in the privacy policy.

10. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from “My account”. Your game and your purchased benefits are then permanently erased.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. If there is a significant change, you will need to accept them again the next time you log in.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If there’s a problem, please write to us first: we’ll look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the Belgian courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rules that protect consumers.
