Football as it really is.
No billions and no stars to start with. A bumpy pitch, a clubhouse bar, and a bunch of lads playing for fun. It’s up to you to turn it into a proper club.
Players with day jobs
Your striker is a bricklayer, your keeper works nights. They miss training and go on holiday. The higher you climb, the more you can pay them.
The bar keeps the club alive
Beer prices, meatball suppers, pétanque tournaments. Lose at home and the takings drop.
Volunteers and the council
Without the bloke who marks the lines and the lady behind the bar, nothing works. And for an artificial pitch, you’ll have to win over the alderman for sport.
The village wonderkid
Build up your youth academy. One day a local kid signs for a big club, and his transfer pays for three seasons.
The game in pictures
No 3D and no cutscenes: a real club to run, designed for your phone, a few minutes a day.

Your ground grows with you
From the village pitch to a closed stadium: stands, floodlights, clubhouse bar, dressing rooms, your sponsors’ boards… every facility shows on the drawing.

Frequently asked questions
What does the “Continue” button do?
It moves time forward day by day until the next event: training, matchday, something happening at the club or a decision to make (a week at most). On matchday, you choose between “Play and watch” to follow it live and “Instant result” to get the score straight away.
How many “Continue”s do I get per day?
There’s a daily limit: the counter next to the button shows how many you have left today. They come back at midnight (Belgian time). Once today’s are used up, the ones in your reserve take over.
Do I have to pay to play?
No, the game is completely free. The Shop is optional: it lets you move faster or give your club a boost, and every purchase helps keep FootballDay going.
How does a season work?
Your series has 14 clubs and 26 league matchdays, played on Sundays. Before matchday 1, you get about four weeks of pre-season, ideal for arranging friendlies. The Belgian Cup is played on Wednesdays.
